Description:
Through the technical assistance project TCP/ALG/4101: Finalization of the financial proposal "Algerian Green Dam" and submission to GCF, the FAO Representation in Algeria is committed to finalizing the financial proposal which must be submitted to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The project will contribute to the objectives of the Algerian government (GA) aimed at relaunching the Green Dam initiative. It will establish an approach to increase the climate resilience of forest, pre-forest ecosystems and steppes of the Algerian Green Dam (DVA), as well as that of the most vulnerable populations and groups in terms of health, well-being, food security and access to water.
