Description:
The International Labor Organization (ILO), in partnership with the European Commission, is launching the “Young NEETs in Southern Neighborhood Countries” programme. This innovative initiative aims to address the challenges faced by young people who are neither in neither in education nor in training (NEET) in eight countries in the MENA region: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia. Following discussions held with representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Security (MTESS), it was agreed to provide Algeria with technical assistance to strengthen the capacities of the National Employment Agency (ANEM). The objective will be to develop a targeted and adapted service offering for young NEETs, in based in particular on integrating statistical data from the profiling of young NEETs carried out within the framework of the said project. In this context, the ILO Project Office in Algeria is recruiting a service provider to support the International Organization of Work to carry out the design and deployment of an advanced profiling system for job seekers for the National Employment Agency (ANEM) in Algeria.
